POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Technical University degree (Bachelor, Masters).
• 20+ years of relevant work experience in large open pit mines.
• Skills of joint work with operations team, including preparation of mine plans and drawings as well as support to mining operations.
• Excellent knowledge of mine planning, reserves estimation, pit wall stability, mining operations, budgeting, mining legislation as well as good knowledge of metal processing.
• Excellent knowledge of mobile fleet management systems, such as Dispatch, Jigsaw, MineStar as well as usage of such data for optimization of mining operations

JOB DUTIES

• Comprehensive project management (ensure that the decisions made during project implementation are in compliance with the project targets).
• Maintain project schedule, informing responsible people about events, controlling milestones delivery, collecting task reports.
• Determine interaction points and issues relating to the project members/contractors.
• Analyze the project for any risks for project implementation, communicate critical project decisions to management in a timely manner.
• Interact with Contracts Division of the Project Services Department and ensure that Mining Department obtains the most up-to-date information.
• Control over the progress of assigned contracts processed by the Contracts Division of the Project Services Department. Prepare and follow up on approval of neccesary documentation for opening new contract agreements.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation required for open tender and participate in tender analysis to determine contract winner as directed by line manager
